'WHAT IF"
June 2, 2011
What would the world be like if...IF...
What if...
Every mask of ice human kind ever wore
Could dissolve away into nothingness...
Would the exposed love resolve within?
If every act of anger
Could be anchored to the pain within... love.
What would the world be like?
If the eyes of the child could paint
The perception every congress person speaks...
And if the ax of every warlord
Could be traced to the ills of their lost child within.
If every man, woman, and child
Could find the spark of innocence
To ignite the light within each darkened soul...
Would we be free.
What if...
The heart of the world is found cradled within
The soul of a single lady of pure compassion
Called Yin... she... our true Nature.
Would we realize the greater love?
And what if her love was deep enough
And warm enough
To melt every icy mask worn by the arms of man...
Since the beginning of time.
Would we see past the walls that divide us?
And would the differences that divide us
Become the curiosities that unite us?
What if the fight gained sight?
What would the world be like...IF...
If every search...
Every quested pursuit ever followed
Since the beginning of time...
Was realized
In real eyes
To be the unspoken longing for true love.
What if the world would see...
That all the suffering ever felt
Was dealt by the absence of love...
Would we deal the ideal hand of love in return?
Does the problem shadow the solution of... love?
If all we need is love
Then would the rest follow suit?
If the world went mute,
For a day,
A week,
Even an hour...
Would our silence let the stillness...
speak.
Will we listen to...
Glistening the voice that the true heart hums.
Will they hear the echo of compassion
She waters... within the place where we are one.
Would they love her as she loves them.
And would the story of the Lady Love be heard
To rewrite his-story.
To end into never ending love...
What if...
The touch of love was deep enough...
Wide enough...
Warm enough...
To melt the ice between us.
What would the world be like...
What will the world be.
What would the world be like if...IF...
